Silbert Mani And Anthony Bookman’s DMANI Entertainment Group Appoints Cameron Thomson Group As Financial Advisor And Placing Agent

Toronto, August 26, 2005— DMANI Entertainment Group (DEG) has engaged Cameron Thomson Group (CTG) as its outsourced corporate finance advisor with a specific focus on attracting investment capital for its Urban entertainment business operating under a breakthrough “360-degree” business model.

Cameron Thomson, a business development corporation focusing on media, entertainment and related technologies, will provide DMANI with investment banking advisory services to help fuel DMANI’s expansion though various vertical markets within the entertainment industry.

With a major focus on urban content, which comprises 25% of all music sold globally, DEG’s “360-degree” entertainment company will combine publishing, touring, merchandising and management, maximizing all points of income generation for the label and its artists.

Leading DEG will be Chairman and CEO Silbert Mani and President and COO Anthony Bookman, both major forces in the music industry over the past decide. Starting in 1995, Mani handled marketing and promotions for Hip-Hop legend Chuck D’s (Public Enemy) boutique label, Slam Jamz through Sony’s Columbia Records. Mani also worked on the successful Jay-Z led Hard Knock Life Tour, and also headed Dr. Dre’s Up in Smoke Tour and The Cash Money/Ruff Ryder’s World tour, which together grossed more than $50 million in ticket sales. Mani’s concert productions have achieved an astounding 90% sellout rate and over 150 million in ticket sales. Bookman got his start in the music industry in 1999 promoting concerts for the likes of Destiny’s Child, Jagged Edge, Next, and Tracie Spencer. He has led online marketing campaigns for Aerosmith, TLC, Whitney Houston and Boys II Men as well as traditional marketing campaigns for Justin Timberlake, Rickey Smiley, and Viacom Entertainment.

Dmani has attracted a “double platinum” board of advisors and executives with the legendary Chuck D heading up the roster. This group, which will help attract the top artists and provide up-front credibility, also includes Hollywood supermanager Elliott Roberts (Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, The Eagles) and Bill Stephney, one of the original founders of Public Enemy and former president of the legendary Hip-Hop label Def Jam Records. Other major industry figures involved with DEG include Ian Waldon, General Counsel and Head of Business Affairs and Mike Bills, CFO.

“DEG will be the prototype for Entertainment companies of the future,” commented Mani. “We will focus on the long-term development of career artists through multiple revenue streams in our 360-degree business model. The UK’s Sanctuary Records Group has proven to be extremely successful implementing this strategy in the rock genre and DEG will execute it to even greater heights in the extremely underserved independent urban marketplace.”

“The 360-degree model creates an atmosphere where all of these units work cohesively under one business umbrella versus the traditional method of keeping them separate,” commented Cameron Thomson Group CEO Ron Thomson. “The model will create a music company generating revenue from every aspect of the music business model. It is this innovative business model, which will help attract investment capital and establish DEG as the preeminent urban independent music company in the United States. The model provides gains not only from a profit standpoint, but also allows a more long-term approach in establishing career artists that will produce residual income for years to come.”

DEG’s management team and advisory board have been responsible for more than $2 billion in revenue from all vertical points within the 360-degree business model, and plan to implement this strategy to offer new artists and mid-line artists a home where they can achieve financial success. “DEG’s current relationships within the music industry will create one of the premier companies in the United States owned outside of the major label groups,” added Mani. “Partnerships with Warner/Asylum, Sony Red, and Clear Channel will allow DEG post-funding to quickly implement its strategy across the United States.”
