Cameron Thomson Group Nabs Content at MIPCOM

Content Solutions Business Unit Acquires Rights to Programming Earmarked for Broadband and Wireless Application

October 4, 2000, Cannes, France - Cameron Thomson Group, the industry pioneer in business development solutions for the converging media and entertainment industries, today announced it has kicked off its new broadband and wireless content solutions business at MIPCOM in Cannes, aggressively pushing into content syndication. "MIPCOM marks the first of many events that will capitalize on our unique and innovative approach to content aggregation and syndication", said Mark Bowden, Vice President of Cameron Thomson Group (UK). "The company is poised to become the leading provider of transition services for the media community in Europe and around the world, becoming the critical link between the production/distribution industry and broadband and wireless service operators worldwide."

Specifics of the content acquisition deals are not being disclosed at this time. Cameron Thomson Group's new business unit focuses on aggregating and revitalizing traditional entertainment and information programming. It specializes in re-purposing these contents for broadband and wireless delivery channels, enhancing the entertainment experience for audiences worldwide.

MIPCOM is the largest international film and program market for TV, video, cable and satellite, and is held in each October in Cannes, France.
